Is this a sign of high blood pressure?
First off, I am overweight and the last time I was checked, I was beginning stage pre hypertensive. I've tried looking up symptoms of hypertensiveness on webMD and MayoClinic, but they neither one mention much about symptoms. They mainly say " most people won't experience any significant symptoms" or something to that effect. I've heard of people having a blood rushing to the head experience when getting up too fast, or people getting dizzy spells as symptoms. But what I'm experiencing is something I've never heard of. I get itchy, really itchy. Mostly on my arms, from the bend of my elbow to my fingers and then my feet...all over them, bottom, top and toes. This is ANY time my heart rate goes up higher than a resting heart rate. It can be from a quick walk to the mailbox or from running to get the phone, or even when I'm walking around picking up my house. I'm pretty out of shape, I know. But this is really weird..and annoying. It's a really intense itch, like poison ivy rash or chicken pox. I normally don't have anything on my skin, but once I did get little welts on the tops of my toes and the crook of my elbows. That happened during a marathon " quick, the family's coming into town" spring cleaning session. LOL So has anyone ever heard of anything like this?
Sure signs of High Blood Pressure in pregnancy?
has anyone had high blood pressure while pregnant? Im having dizziness, nausea, headaches, insomnia, Extreme drowsiness, stomach cramps, my arms feel very heavy while this is going on and if I stand too long I feel very icky and woozy. This happens mostly after I eat for about the first 30 to 40 minutes and than I will be fine. I have had NO swelling whatsoever and Im told that's the biggest sign I have Gestational Diabetes but my Blood sugar level is normal when I check it. I know GD puts you at higher risk for preeclampsia...do these sound like the signs of high bp?

Are these sign of high blood pressure?
My blood pressure has always been normal, but for the past two days I have been feeling pressure in my head and ears at times. I don't know if it is high blood pressure or if it is just that I have a very bad cold and I am congested. What do I do? Is there anything that I can do in the meantime to feel better until I get to my dr.?
