few days back my mom happened to meet a doctor and he told my mom abt the high B.P problem my mom was facing. As per his suggestion yesterday only she took first dose for B.P and then when she checked her B.P it was normal.Do she has to continue this medicine forever.plz tell me dos & don'ts which she should follow for diet.
Is it okay to take multiple non-prescription products to control high blood pressure?
I currently take Garlic, L Arginine, and Triple Strength Fish Oil Daily, I also take a multivitamin, I use the products every morning I feel good but i wonder if its okay to take all these at the same time.I take 1 1000mg garlic pill, 1 900mg Fish Oil Pill, and 1 1000mg dose of L arginine in the morning before i workout. I dont feel any problems in my body after taking these products it just seems like a lot of pills to be taking at one time is this bad?
Is the diuretic HCTZ safe for controlling High blood pressure?
My BP reading has been 45 95. Was prescribed 25mg of HCTZ daily.Learn about the possible side effects andnot so sure is safe enough to feel confortable taking it.Pls. any feedback will be appreciated.
I was given nifedipine to control high blood pressure but felt more giddy.?
So I when for a ECG check. ECG was taken a few hours after my medication nifedipine , and the result showed that I had bradycardiac. My heart beat around 50 I seldom exercise, is it normal? . I will be referring to a specialist soon. Now , I'm wondering whether the result was caused by the medication? Or originally I'm already having slow heart beat and I should not have taken nifedipine? Currently stop this medication and my heart beat improve slightly but still low about 53. Some say I should continue my medication because I still have high blood pressure which causes my neck ache. Need advice seriously. Thank you.
