Very good blood pressure numbers and resting pulse...is random chest pain a pulled muscle?
The chest pain is not sharp, and it comes at random times. Even if I run up stairs and try to exert myself, the pain will not necesarily occur.The pain appears to be on the left portion of my chest on a small area along my rib cage. Sometimes, I can swear the pain happens very quickly in the area where my heart is...Is it possible this chest pain could be related to my heart even though I have great blood pressure and resting pulse? I did have heart palpitations for a couple of weeks because of a reaction to a decongestant. I can still feel my heart beating sometimes, but not nearly as bad as it used to be. I am wondering if the palpitations have anything to do with it.

Mine was 143 53 today. Isn't the 53 too low and what does the bottom number mean, health wise?I was once told that the bottom number should be around 75 80. Mine is 53. What are the health issues consequences of the lower number being so " low" ?

My husband and I are confused as to what is GOOD blood pressure and when you should worry if any. Mine is 174 76 and I am 60 years old. One site says it should be 90 or below for the top and 40 to 60 bottom. Is that not too low??

My blood pressure was 92 62 which seems very low. I workout everyday, but I also smoke. Can anyone suggest some websites that better describe this? So I took it at the store they have the little machine thing and I also took it at the doctors and they said it was a little high but I'm just wondering. The top number was about 160 or 170 i think and the bottom was in the 70's and the beat rate was like around 155. I'm 14 about 5'8my weight is about 145 and when i went to the doctors last they didn't really do much but they said your heart's beating a bit too fast. anything i can do about this?

My blood pressure numbers are getting closer.?
This is weird but my blood pressure numbers are getting closer together. It used to be around 140 90, now it is about 110 80... however, it seems like the numbers are almost going to be the same... they keep getting closer to together. What does this mean?it used to be 140 90 when I lived with an ex it was stress. I know how BP works... I do not need an anatomy lession as I work in the medical field although not with direct patient care, I just wanted to know if anyone had this similarity... and they can be very close together, it IS possible. I was looking for some educated answers here.
Blood pressure numbers?
OK, this morning I was in WalMart bright and early 7am and while shopping I decided to check out my BP and rate. I am now at 102 70 with a pulse of 57. I take that to be good. I know when I was in high school a couple of years ago it was like 90 55. Why is the my newer level considered to be better than my school days level, at least according to what I have been told?
