I am a 52 yrs old male on blood pressure medicine called Diovan hct.will it affect on my blood sugar as I am going tomorrow fasting blood sugar.what does it mean if its affect on my blood sugar.Will it raise blood sugar level or down?Doctor didn't officially diagnosed me for diabetes though but told me i have to watch my diet and go for walk.what do you say? i am 23 and have a 3 year old daughter ....... my doc started me on blood pressure medicine and cholesterol medicine ex forge, zocor, coreg, tricor, about 4 months ago i was wondering if i would make my period act funny cuz it started the stopped the started again a few day later then stopped again this month i was wondering if my meds or anything would be the cause of it doing that?
High blood pressure medicine and heart rate?
My husband takes high blood pressure medicine. He's been on this prescription since 2003. He recently began going to the gym with me. He likes the treadmill and uses the fat burner option. Unfortunately it seems like he can't get his heart rate to the fat burning rate. The treadmill will rise the incline to help increase the heart rate but nothing. Last night the incline was at a 10. I told my husband to increase the speed and he did. That didn't help either. The speed was 3.4. He's not in good physical health to run or jog. This didn't get his heart rate up either. It's not an error with the treadmill b c I use it all the time. I'm wondering if it's b c of his high blood pressure medication.Any other options for the gym since the treadmill isn't the best? Walking outside won't work b c we are in the Midwest. It's been well over 90 degrees for almost 3 weeks straight.

While on high blood pressure medicine would it hurt to take a muscle relaxer?
My dad is currently on blood pressure medicine and cholesterol medicine. He recently pulled something in his back and can verily walk. Would it affect him if he was to take a muscle relaxer to relieve the pain. He wont go to the doctor for he dont want to miss work. Thanks for any suggestions and comment.

after finding out i have high blood pressure my doctor put me on hydrocloorothi 25mg and Lisinopril 20mg and also for my cholesrrol she gave me simvastatin 20 mg after starting these meds i went from having relations 2 times a week to just once now i can barely perform even once weak erections and almost no volume to each ejeculation even after waiting 7 or 8 days still having these problems im trying to see if these meds are my problem and if i should live with it or talk with my doctor when i go in march any feedbback will help me talk with her thank you so much im kinda embarresed dont feel like myself and feel like less of a man i wish insurance companys would understand i cant afford ed drugs but there important to hold together healthy realations and hold people together as well as my pride as a man.
Will losing weight help me get off blood pressure medicine or will i be on it as long as i overload on salt?
I am addicted to salt. I can't help it. EVERYTHING other than fruits and veggies , have SALT OR SUGAR I am not much on sweets because it gives me a belly ache. Salt gets my taste buds jumpin' and i love pickles, olives, jalepenos, cocktail onions and all of the other pickled stuff. I have heard that apple cider vinegar lowers blood pressure so i have been eating a lot of cucumbers in vinegar with LIGHT salt and pepper. I don't know how to cut out salt without cutting EVERYTHING but fruits and veggies out of my diet. Please help me. I am on blood pressure meds now Hydroclorothiazide 25mg. I have lost 52 pounds. Is there a chance i can get off of them if i lose more weight i am 7 pounds overweight for my height , or will i always have high blood pressure as long as i eat a lot of sodium? Thanks

Have Been Taking A Double Dose of Blood Pressure Medicine?
What do you do when you have just realized that you have been taking over a double dose of blood pressure medicine every day? The one is ok, but the other one is 40MG a day and I just noticed I have been taking two of those every day. That is 80MG every day along with the other one that is 10MG. My blood pressure is 112 60I was taking 20MG of the one medication every day and they increased it to 40MG. I took two pills of the 20, so got confused and just took two of the 40MG. I think I have done that for a few days now.
